Have your say

Since the launch of BBF on 29 June 2009, we’ve been collecting your views through this website, through consultation on draft legislation and at BBF events all around the country.

Now we've collected your comments on different BBF commitments, we’ll now working on a response which we'll publish this winter. The BBF site now focuses on helping you find out more about the key areas of work we’re delivering into early 2010.

We'll continue to publish comments you post on this page that offer constructive ideas, suggestions and thoughts on how we can build Britain's future. We're keen to see the public debate continue!

This page is also where you can send in any general feedback you'd like us to take on board.

Digital engagement
All of the points mentioned could be easier to attain if we had next generation ICT now, instead of the patched up obsolete legacy copper. If you want to help people then get the fibre out to the 90% of the UK land mass that don't have decent connectivity. Once the people have real broadband then they will have access to everything they need to contribute to the debates and to enrich their lives, save the carbon footprint, find information and save money. None of this will happen for 40% of the population unless government speeds it up.

Am I naive...?
...but I am wondering why on earth a blatantly party political pseudo-manifesto is being publicised on an HMG website and therefore presumably funded by the taxpayer?!!!

This is obviously one of Brown's latest lamest attempts at a relaunch, it's therefore a Labour policy document and should not benefit from taxpayer's funds!

I am sick of Brown! No doubt this comment won't be published, but I hope the moderator is well and truly happy at ensuring that no one rains on Gordon's parade!

green energy
Those are all good things to do, but why was the energy plan left out? Maybe bc its not the kind of green the environment really needs? As for broadband access for e1 only the aussies have enuf sence for that. We all hear the same exuse, its not profitable to invest in the rural areas or the backwoods folks. No problem running electrical lines overhead thou it has a meter and collects profits by the minute.

Building Britain's Future
What chance is there for the future when reference is made to new innovations, to innovate is new! In mathematics 2 negatives make a positive, while may be not true for 2 positives, ie to repeat has a negative been made. Yes, if the correct use of words is incorrect., hence my comment, so much for Education, Education, Education.

If the top cannot get it right, what chance plebs.
